RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 indicative notification has been issued for 9970 vacancies. Registration schedule and details are provided below.
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the indicative notice for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP). Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official RRB websites. A total of 9970 ALP positions will be filled through this recruitment drive.
The application window will open on April 12 and close on May 11, 2025.
Applicants are encouraged to validate their basic details using Aadhaar while submitting the online application. Doing so can help avoid complications and delays, as non-Aadhaar-verified applications may require additional scrutiny at each recruitment stage.
The starting basic pay for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 is ₹19,900/-. Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age to be eligible.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: How to apply
To apply online, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of RRBs.
- Click on RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the registration details.
- Once done, fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The second stage of the RRB ALP 2024 computer-based test has been rescheduled. Originally set for March 19 and 20, 2025, the exam will now take place on May 2 and 6, 2025.
Candidates are required to report to the exam center by 07:30 hrs for the first shift and 12:30 hrs for the second shift. The city intimation slip will be available for download 10 days prior to the exam date, while the e-call letter can be downloaded four days before the exam from the respective official RRB websites.
