RRB Recruitment 2025: Apply for 32,438 Assistant and Other Vacancies at rrbapply.gov.in by February 22
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have commenced the online registration and application process for 32,438 Assistant and other vacancies. Interested candidates can apply through the official website rrbapply.gov.in. The application window will remain open until February 22, 2025.
RRB Recruitment 2025: Important Dates

The 32,438 vacancies announced under the Centralized Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024) are for Level 1 positions in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. RRB Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The general eligibility criteria for all posts are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10, ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by the NCVT.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 36 years as of January 1, 2025.
RRB Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process comprises four stages-
- Computer Based Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Document Verification and
- Medical Examination.
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 questions with a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer. The exam duration will be 90 minutes.
To qualify, candidates in the Unreserved (UR) and EWS categories must score at least 40% marks, while candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST categories will need a minimum of 30% marks.
RRB Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
The application fee is ₹250 for candidates belonging to PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Communities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories. The fee will be refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing for the CBT.
For all other candidates, the application fee is ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded after they appear for the CBT.
