VITREE January Session 2025 Admit Card Released: Download Now at vit.ac.in. The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially released the VITREE January Session 2025 Admit Card. Candidates planning to appear for the Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Examination can access and download their e-admit card from the official website at vit.ac.in.
The VITREE January 2025 session is scheduled for December 7, 2024, and will take place in 28 cities across India. The exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, lasting a total of two hours.
Exam Format:
- The examination will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Each correct answer will carry one mark, while incorrect answers will receive zero marks.
- Ph.D. Question Paper Composition:
- Technical Section: 70 questions
- English Communication Skills: 15 questions
- Statistics and Probability: 15 questions
- Direct Ph.D. Question Paper Composition:
- Technical Section: 80 questions
- English Communication Skills: 20 questions
- The question paper will be available in English only.

To download the admit card, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of VIT at vit.ac.in.
- Click on VITREE January Session 2025 Admit Card link available on the home page.
- A new PDF file will open where the admit card download link will be available.
- Click on that link and enter the login details.
- Once done, your admit card will be displayed.
- Check the admit card and download it.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Candidates must bring a printed hard copy of the e-admit card to the examination venue. If the e-admit card does not display your photo or signature, it is mandatory to carry a government-issued ID such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License, along with a passport-size photograph for verification purposes.
The selection process for VITREE January 2025 includes the following criteria:
- VITREE – January 2025 score
- Marks obtained in the PG degree
- Evaluation of the research proposal
- Performance in the personal interview
