The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is expected to release the GATE 2026 admit card shortly on the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Once released, candidates can download the hall ticket online only, as it will not be sent by post or email.

The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, across multiple days and shifts. Each day will have two sessions:

  • Forenoon session: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon session: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

The exact exam date, time, and session for each candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.

As per the latest updates, the admit card was earlier expected on January 2, but the release has been delayed. The GATE 2026 admit card download link is now likely to be activated around January 7. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.

The GATE admit card is mandatory for appearing in the examination. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents.
