The registration process for AIIMS CRE 2024 has commenced. Candidates interested in applying for the Common Recruitment Examination to fill various Group B and C positions at participating AIIMS institutions and Central Government Hospitals under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare can do so online through the official AIIMS website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
The registration window opened on January 7, 2025, and will close on January 31, 2025. The written examination is scheduled to take place from February 26 to February 28, 2025.
The exam will have a duration of 90 minutes and will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 400 marks. Each question will have four options, with a correct response earning 4 marks. There will be a penalty of 1/4 marks for each incorrect answer. The test will include:
- 25 MCQs on General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
- 75 MCQs focused on the specific domain of the respective group.
For positions requiring qualifications of 10th/Matriculation/10+2, the exam will be conducted bilingually, with the question paper available in both English and Hindi.

AIIMS CRE 2024: How to apply
To register online, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of AIIMS at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Click on AIIMS CRE 2024 link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where the registration link will be available.
- Click on the link and enter the registration details.
- Click on submit and login to the account.
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
- Click on submit and download the page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The application fee for AIIMS CRE 2024 is ₹3000 for General and OBC category candidates, while candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS categories are required to pay ₹2400. Payment can be made using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Any applicable transaction or processing fees will be borne by the candidate and paid directly to the bank.
