JEE Main 2025 Registration: Candidates planning to take JEE Main 2025 Session 1 must complete their registration and submit their application forms before the deadline.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the final date to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 is November 22, with no extensions. However, applicants who meet the deadline will have an opportunity to make corrections to their forms during the correction window from November 26 to 27.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to register well before the deadline to avoid any potential technical difficulties. The NTA has also outlined which fields can be edited during the correction window.
Edits will not be allowed for mobile number, email address, permanent or present address, emergency contact details, and photographs. As a result, candidates should exercise extra caution when filling out these specific fields.
They can change any one of the following details-
- Name
- Mother’s name
- Father’s name
They are allowed to change all these fields-
- Class 10/equivalent details
- Class 12/equivalent details
- PAN number
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub category
- PwD status
- Signature.
Candidates can also modify the exam paper, examination medium, and preferred exam cities during the correction window.
According to the NTA, exam cities will be assigned based on the candidate’s permanent and current addresses, and the agency is not obligated to adhere strictly to the preferences listed by candidates.
If any changes made during corrections result in a higher application fee, candidates must pay the additional amount for the updates to take effect. However, if the fee decreases after corrections, the agency will not issue a refund.
