JoSAA Counselling 2024: Once the JoSAA Round 5 seat allotment result is declared, candidates will be able to view their results on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the fifth and final round seat allotment results for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the NIT+ system today, July 17, at 5 PM. Candidates can check the results on the official JoSAA website once they are available.
After the results are released, candidates must pay the online fees and upload the required documents between July 17 and 22 to confirm their admission. Failure to complete these steps within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of the allocated seat, even if the online fee has been paid.
Classes for first-year students are scheduled to begin on July 30, though at some IITs, classes will start after August 1.
JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other government-funded technical institutions.
The seat allotment results for the first round were announced on June 20, the second round on June 27, the third round on July 4, and the fourth round on July 10.
