UPSC NDA & CDS II Exam 2024: Candidates appearing for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA II) and Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS II) 2024 can download their hall tickets from the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
According to the official schedule, the UPSC will conduct these examinations on September 1, 2024. Hall tickets were released on August 23, 2024. Through these exams, the UPSC aims to fill 370 positions in the National Defence Academy and 34 positions in the Naval Academy. The CDS examination will be held to fill 459 positions in the organization.
UPSC NDA & CDS II Exam 2024: Exam Day Instructions
Here are some important instructions that candidates appearing for the exam need to look out for.
- Black Ball Point Pen: Candidates are advised to bring a black ballpoint pen to the examination hall for completing the test.
- Admit Card: Note that paper admit cards will not be issued. Candidates must print and bring their e-admit card to the examination venue. The e-admit card should be kept until the final result is declared. Candidates who fail to present their e-admit card for verification will not be permitted to take the exam.
- Photo ID Card: Along with the e-admit card, candidates must carry a photo ID card with the number mentioned on the admit card for each session.
- Report to the Allotted Venue: Candidates must report to the examination venue specified in their e-admit card. Entry will be restricted to the designated venue, and candidates will not be permitted to enter any other venue. Additionally, the entry gates will close 30 minutes before the exam begins, and no late arrivals will be allowed.
- Items Not Allowed in the Exam Hall: Candidates should not bring any valuables, mobile phones, smart or digital watches, IT gadgets, books, or bags into the examination hall. If candidates bring any banned items, they must make their own arrangements for storing them outside the venue, as the Commission will not be responsible for any loss. The use of mobile phones (even if turned off) and other electronic or communication devices, as well as any incriminating materials (such as notes on e-admit cards, papers, erasers, etc.), is strictly prohibited.
- Items Allowed in the Exam Hall: Candidates are permitted to bring only the e-admit card, a black ballpoint pen, pencil, identity proof, photographs, and any other items specified in the e-admit card instructions. Only normal or analog wristwatches are allowed inside the examination rooms or halls.
