The Union Public Service Commission will close the window for filling DAF I for the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024 on July 12, 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the exam must complete the Detailed Application Form I on the UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in. The link will be available until 6 p.m. today.
The official notice states: “All candidates who have qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 are required to log in through One Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission’s website to fill out their Detailed Application Form I. After logging in through OTR, candidates must complete the necessary details in the DAF-I, upload copies of all relevant documents, and submit the form by 6:00 p.m. on July 12, 2024. Candidates who do not submit their DAF-I in complete form by the deadline will have their candidature canceled and will not be allowed to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024.”

UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024: How to fill DAF I
All the candidates can follow the steps given below to fill the DAF I for Civil Services Main examination 2024.
- Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
- Click on OTR link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to login to the account.
- Once done, fill the DAF form and click on submit.
- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The Civil Services Main Examination 2024 is scheduled to begin on September 20, 2024. Candidates who have qualified the prelims examination are eligible to participate. The Civil Services (Main) Examination will include a Written Examination followed by an Interview/Personality Test.
