Eligible candidates can apply for UP DElEd Admission 2024 until October 9 on the official website, updeled.gov.in, with the application fee payable until October 10.
The online registration for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) in Uttar Pradesh will start on September 18. This year, the counselling process will be held for 2,33,350 available DElEd seats across the state.
The first phase of online counselling for registered candidates will take place from October 17 to October 30, with the admission process concluding by November 13. The second phase will run from November 20 to December 10, with the final admission process wrapping up by December 10.
Training for admitted candidates will commence on December 12.
Before applying, here are some key points to keep in mind:
- There will be no option to edit the UP DElEd 2024 application form once submitted. Candidates are advised to thoroughly review and confirm all the details before submitting the form.
- The application process is only considered complete after the application fee is paid. Once the payment is confirmed by the bank, candidates can proceed to the next step and print out the form.
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully read the instructions provided on the official website before applying.
- Additionally, all candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh will be treated as unreserved, regardless of their reserved status in their home states.
The application fee for UP DElEd 2024 is ₹700 for General and OBC candidates, ₹500 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, and ₹200 for PwD candidates.
Last year, 3,36,187 candidates applied for admission to 2,33,350 DElEd seats in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 10,600 seats were allocated to 67 District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), while 2,22,750 seats were offered in 2,974 private colleges. However, only 1,63,250 candidates completed the admission process.
