SSC MTS & Havaldar Notification 2024: According to the official notification, a total of 8,326 vacancies will be filled through the examinations. The application deadline is July 31, 2024.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination (SSC MTS 2024) on June 27. Interested candidates can download the notification from the official website at ssc.gov.in.
According to the notification, the recruitment exam aims to fill a total of 8,326 vacancies. The application deadline is July 31, 2024, and the application fee of ₹100 must be paid online by August 1, 2024.
Additionally, the application correction window will be open from August 16 to August 17, 2024.
While the official date for the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam will be announced soon, it is tentatively scheduled for October or November 2024. Of the total 8,326 vacancies, 4,887 are for Multi-Tasking Staff and 3,439 are for Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN.
SSC MTS & Havaldar Notification 2024: Eligibility
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 25 years old for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue). For Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and certain MTS posts, the age limit is 18-27 years. In both cases, reserved category candidates will receive relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 10 or Matriculation examination, or its equivalent, from a recognized board by the cut-off date.
SSC MTS & Havaldar Notification 2024: SELECTION Process
The selection process will include a Computer Based Examination (CBE) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), with PET and PST applicable only for the Havaldar posts.
Additionally, the CBE will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The CBE will consist of two mandatory sessions, and failure to attempt either session will result in disqualification.
CUT OFFs in CBE
Candidates will be shortlisted for the physical test rounds based on their performance in Session 2 of the examination. However, Session 2 marks will only be evaluated if they qualify in Session 1.
