The State Bank of India has declared its Specialist Cadres Officers (SCO) Recruitment 2026, which has 116 positions, such as Deputy Manager and Assistant Vice President (AVP). This hiring initiative will give a good chance to specialists in the banking, IT and audit industries.
The on-line application was initiated on February 23, 2026. Whereas the overall last date was March 15, the deadline of Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant -Internal Audit) has been revised as March 30, 2026.
The vacancies consist of 12 posts of Assistant Vice President (IS Audit), 43 posts of Deputy Manager (IS Audit) as well as 61 posts of Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit). Depending on the position, these roles are offered on regular and contractual basis.
The candidates who intend to apply to the mentioned posts are required to possess the relevant qualifications, including BE, BTech, MCA, or Chartered Accountant certification. There is also a requirement of work experience of between one and six years depending on the position. The age range is 21-45 years, whereby, there is relaxation in the case of reserved groups.
It has no written exam in the selection process. Shortlisting will be done according to the applications of the candidates who will be invited to an interview. The presentation will be based on the performance during the interview and checking of the documents.
Deputy Managers will be paid a salary ranging between [?]64,820 and [?]93,960 with allowances. In the case of AVP posts, the cost to company package reaches up to [?]50 lakh per year, depending on the experience and negotiation.
The interested applicants are allowed to apply through the official site of the SBI using the application form whereby they are required to fill in the application form and upload the documents necessary and pay the application fee where applicable.
