RRB ALP Recruitment 2024: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested can apply for these vacancies through the official websites of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
Today, February 19, is the last day to apply for the 5,696 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) at the Indian Railway. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications through the official websites of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
Candidates between 18 and 30 years old as of July 1, 2024, are eligible to apply for RRB ALP 2024. Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.
The application fee for SC, ST, ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minority, and EBC category candidates is ₹250, while for all others, it is ₹500.
The selection process for the post will consist of five stages. The first two stages consist of computer-based tests (CBT 1, CBT 2), followed by the Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
RRB ALP recruitment 2024: List of documents required
- Applicants must submit a recent color passport photo taken against a white background in JPEG format and within the size range of 30-70 KB.
- They must also provide a scanned signature in JPEG format, within the size range of 30-70 KB.
- If applicable, candidates should upload their SC/ST certificate in PDF format, ensuring it does not exceed 500 KB. Please note that the SC/ST certificate is necessary solely for obtaining a free train travel pass.
RRB has advised candidates to ensure they have at least 12 copies of the photograph, as they will need them for various stages of the recruitment process. It’s important to have these copies readily available for any future requirements.
