Candidates applying for the post must hold an MBBS or an equivalent degree from a Medical College or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
The age limit for applicants is 21 to 32 years as of January 1, 2025, meaning candidates must be born between January 2, 1993, and January 1, 2004.
OPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The written examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 11, 2025, at Cuttack/Bhubaneswar.
The recruitment process for the post of Medical Officer will be based on a competitive written test. The test will consist of a single paper carrying 200 marks, featuring 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. The exam will be evaluated using the OMR system and will have a total duration of 3 hours. Additionally, there will be a negative marking for incorrect answers.
