NTPC Limited has also announced the NTPC Kudgi Recruitment 2026 notice to fill 27 of its trainee positions. They are the Artisan Trainee positions in Fitter and Instrument Mechanic trades and the Assistant (Material/Storekeeper) Trainee positions. This recruitment exercise is targeted specifically at land oustees of the NTPC Kudgi Super Thermal Power Station of Vijayapura in Karnataka.
The online application will begin on March 16, 2026 and run till April 11, 2026. The candidates who are interested and qualified should apply via the official NTPC careers portal.
There are 27 vacancies with 13 Fitter, 6 Instrument Mechanic and 8 Assistant Trainee vacancies. The applicants should only be the candidate whose family lost their land to the Kudgi project. The applicants should submit a valid land oustee certificate issued by KIADB.
There are qualification conditions, which require applicants to be eligible in Artisan Trainee posts to have passed Class 10 with a full-time ITI in the concerned trade. In case of Assistant Trainee positions, the successful individuals must possess a course or ITI diploma in storekeeping and be able to type a bit in English.
The upper age limit of general category candidates is 40 years and concession of the upper age limit is possible in reserved categories according to the government regulations. The successful applicants will be put through two years of training and will be paid [?]21,500 every month. Upon successful training, they will be put in the W3 pay scale with other benefits.
The shortlisted candidates will go through a skill test after the selection process involving a written test. The test is scheduled to take place on June 17, 2026.
