NEET PG 2024 Exam Date to be Announced on NBE Website, natboard.edu.in The new date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 is expected to be announced today, July 2. The exam was originally scheduled for June 23 but was postponed by the Health Ministry a day before as a “precautionary measure.” Last week, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the updated schedule would be shared with candidates by Monday or Tuesday. Once the new date is announced, candidates can check the notification on natboard.edu.in.

“New dates for NEET-PG will be announced by Monday or Tuesday,” Pradhan stated.

Addressing a press conference, the minister announced that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has received new leadership under former ISRO Chairman K. Radhakrishnan and has initiated reforms.

The agency’s examinations, including NEET UG and UGC NET, are currently under scrutiny due to allegations of paper leaks and other irregularities. The UGC NET exam was cancelled, and the CSIR NET was postponed, with new dates for both exams now released.

“We have established a new framework to tackle these issues, and the entire case has been handed over to the CBI,” the minister said.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) postponed the NEET PG entrance test for Postgraduate Medical courses due to concerns over the integrity of competitive examinations in the country.

“The Ministry of Health sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to students. This decision was made in the best interests of the students and to uphold the sanctity of the examination process,” the statement read.

The ministry also announced that it will review and strengthen the processes involved in conducting the NEET-PG entrance examination.
