JKSSB SI Recruitment 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board (JKSSB) will close the application process for Sub Inspector vacancies in the Jammu and Kashmir Police on January 2, 2025.
As per the official notification, a total of 669 Sub Inspector posts are available for recruitment in the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Interested candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official JKSSB website at jkssb.nic.in.

Applicants must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a domicile certificate issued on or before January 2, 2025, to validate their eligibility.

Fee Details:
The application fee is ₹700 except for SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS category candidates. For these categories, the application fee is ₹600.

There are three stages in the selection process:
- Written examination
- Physical standard test
- Physical endurance test.
The written examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, with the paper available in English only. Negative marking will be applied, where one fourth (¼) of the total marks for a question will be deducted for incorrect answers.
Candidates holding a National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ certificate will receive a 5% bonus, while those with an NCC ‘B’ certificate are eligible for a 3% bonus, and NCC ‘A’ certificate holders will receive a 2% bonus.
Age Limit Details: JKSSB SI Recruitment 2024
Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years old, with the exception of in-service personnel, for whom the age limit is 18 to 30 years. The cut-off date for determining age eligibility is January 1, 2024.
