The NTA has already released admit cards for the first three days of the JEE Main 2025 exam (January 22-24). Admit cards for the remaining days (January 28-30) will be made available soon on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The first paper is for Engineering (BE/BTech) programs, while the second paper is for Architecture and Planning (BArch/BPlanning) courses.

Paper 1 will be conducted in two shifts: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 will be held in a single shift, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.

Given below are some important instructions as prescribed by the NTA:

  1. Candidates are advised to report to the examination center at least 2 hours prior to the exam’s scheduled start time.
  2. Upon entering the exam hall, candidates must take their assigned seats immediately. Late arrival due to reasons such as traffic or public transport delays may result in missing important instructions announced in the examination room.
  3. Candidates must present their JEE Main admit card, downloaded and printed from the NTA website, upon request for admission to the examination hall. The exam center staff are authorized by the NTA to verify the candidates’ identity and credentials as needed.
  4. Those without a valid admit card and an authorized photo ID will not be allowed to appear for the exam under any circumstances, as per the Centre Superintendent’s instructions.
  5. Candidates must sit only at their designated seats, identified by their Roll Number. Any attempt to change seats will lead to the cancellation of their candidature, with no appeals entertained, according to NTA guidelines.
  6. During the exam, candidates should verify that the Question Paper displayed on the computer matches the subject chosen as per the Admit Card. Any discrepancies must be immediately reported to the invigilator.
  7. For technical assistance, first aid, or additional information, candidates can approach the Centre Superintendent or the Invigilator during the examination.

Documents/Items to be carried: JEE Main 2025

On the examination day, candidates need to some important documents on the day of the exam as in the absence of these documents, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

The documents are as follows:

  1. Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025 must carry the following items to the examination center:
  2. Printed Admit Card: A printed copy of the JEE Main 2025 Admit Card, along with the Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website. The printout must be clear and on A4-sized paper, duly filled out.
  3. Passport-Size Photograph: One passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the Online Application Form) for affixing in the designated space on the Attendance Sheet at the exam center.
  4. Valid Photo ID: Any one of the following original, valid, and non-expired photo IDs:
    • School Identity Card
    • PAN Card
    • Driving License
    • Voter ID
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar Card with photograph
    • E-Aadhaar with photograph
    • Ration Card with photograph
    • Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
    • Bank Passbook with photograph
  5. PwD/PwBD Certificate (if applicable): Candidates seeking relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category must carry a valid certificate issued by an authorized medical officer.
  6. Transparent Ballpoint Pen: A simple, transparent ballpoint pen for writing during the exam.
