JEE Main 2024 Dress Code and Exam Day Guidelines: What to Wear?

Candidates should opt for slippers or sandals with low heels for footwear. Avoid wearing closed footwear, including shoes.

Candidates should wear light clothes with half sleeves, such as T-shirts. Candidates cannot wear long sleeves or garments with large buttons.

Candidates must not bring handbags, mobile phones, or any form of communication or electronic devices to the exam centers.

Prohibit caps, dupattas, sunglasses, and similar items at the exam venue.

Strictly prohibit metal objects, including watches. A clock will be provided on the exam console for candidates to keep track of time.

Candidates can carry their JEE Main admit card, photo ID, photograph, PwD certificate, and scribe document (if applicable). A pen and scribble pad will be provided. Candidates may also bring water, hand sanitizer, etc. Diabetic candidates can bring specified edibles as mentioned on the admit card.
