ITBP Constable, SI Recruitment 2024: Apply for 526 Vacancies on Official Website. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) has opened the online registration for Sub Inspector, Head Constable, and Constable (Telecommunication) positions starting today, November 15. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for a total of 526 vacancies through the official ITBPF website: recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
The application period for the ITBP SI and Constable (Telecommunication) recruitment 2024 will end on December 14.
These positions, including SI (Group B) and Constable, Head Constable (Group C), are available for both male and female candidates. The recruitment will be conducted on a temporary basis.
ITBP Constable, SI Recruitment 2024: Gender and post-wise distribution of vacancies
- Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): 92 vacancies (78 for male candidates and 14 for female candidates)
- Head Constable (Telecommunication): 383 vacancies (325 for male candidates and 58 for female candidates)
- Constable (Telecommunication): 51 vacancies (44 for male candidates and 7 for female candidates)
- Ten percent of the total vacancies are reserved for ex-servicemen (ESM). If the reserved ESM positions are not filled due to a lack of eligible candidates, they will be reassigned to non-ESM candidates, according to the ITBP.
- Applicants for SI positions must be between 20 and 25 years old as of December 14. Candidates applying for Head Constable roles should be between 18 and 25 years old, while those interested in Constable vacancies should be aged 18 to 23.
- Each position has specific educational qualifications, so candidates are encouraged to review the detailed notification for more information.
- In the recruitment examination, degree holders in relevant subjects like telecommunication and electronics will receive a bonus of five marks, diploma certificate holders will get three marks, and ITI certificate holders will be awarded two additional marks.
Salary/pay matrix:
- For SI posts: ₹35,400-1,12,400 (level 6)
- For Head Constable: ₹25,500 to 81,100 (level 4) and
- For Constable: 21,700 to 69,100 (level 3).
The application fee is ₹200 for Sub Inspector positions and ₹100 for Constable and Head Constable vacancies. However, women, ex-servicemen, and candidates from SC and ST categories are exempt from paying the fee.
