Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is recruiting candidates for Apprentice positions. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website at iob.in.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 550 Apprentice posts within the organization. The deadline to apply online is September 10, 2024, and the last date to pay the application fee is September 15, 2024. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for September 22, 2024. Indian Overseas Bank: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the position must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or possess equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government. The age requirement for candidates in the General and EWS categories is between 20 and 28 years.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of an Online Examination, a local language proficiency test (where applicable), and a personal interaction, if required, as determined by the Bank. The online test will include 100 questions, totaling 100 marks, with a duration of 90 minutes.
Candidates applying for training positions in a specific state must be proficient in one of the local languages of that state (including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding), which will be specified when applications are called.
Indian Overseas Bank: Application Fee
The application fee is ₹472 for PwBD category candidates, ₹708 for Female, SC, and ST category candidates, and ₹944 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. Only eligible candidates will receive an email communication from BFSI SSC with instructions to pay the examination fees or intimation charges through online mode only.
