The Indian Navy is accepting applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers across various entries. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website at joinindiannavy.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 270 vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their graduation or post-graduation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA, OR those with an engineering degree from a recognized foreign university, college, or institution with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA, are eligible to apply.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process involves shortlisting applications based on the candidates’ normalized marks in the qualifying degree. A merit list will be prepared according to SSB marks, considering vacancy availability and medical clearance for each entry. Candidates who are medically fit will be appointed based on the availability of vacancies in their respective entry.

- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the registration details.
- Click on submit and then login to the account.
- Once done, fill the application form and upload the documents required.
- On submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
All relevant documents, preferably in original, must be scanned in JPG/TIFF format for submission with the application. These include mark sheets up to the 5th and 7th semesters for regular and integrated BE/B.Tech courses, respectively, and all semesters for other degree examinations. Additionally, candidates must provide proof of date of birth (as per 10th & 12th certificates), the CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech, a Merchant Navy certificate issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Shipping and Transport, an NCC ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps, and a recent passport-size color photograph.
