The registration for India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 ends today, August 5, 2024. Interested candidates can apply using the direct link available on the official India Post website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The registration process began on July 15, 2024.
A correction window will be open from August 6 to August 8, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 44,228 posts within the organization.
To be eligible for the GDS posts, candidates must have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English from a recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 40 years old. However, there is an upper age limit relaxation for candidates from reserved categories.

To apply for India Post GDS recruitment, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Click on registration link available on the home page.
- Enter the registration details and click on submit.
- Once registration is done, login to the account.
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
- Click on submit and download the page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The application fee for the GDS recruitment is ₹100. However, female applicants, SC/ST applicants, PwD applicants, and Transwomen applicants are exempt from this fee. The application fee must be paid online.
According to the official notification, “the Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained/conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard from recognized Boards, aggregated to a percentage accurate to four decimal places.” For more details, candidates can visit the official India Post website.
