The India Post GDS merit list has been meticulously prepared based on the marks obtained or conversion of Grades/Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) from recognized boards, calculated to four decimal places.
Candidates whose names appear on the first merit list will be required to undergo physical verification. The schedule for this verification will be communicated through registered phone numbers and email addresses in due course.
This recruitment drive by India Post aims to fill 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak vacancies across 23 postal circles. This includes 2,718 vacancies in Rajasthan, 2,558 in Bihar, 4,588 in Uttar Pradesh, 1,338 in Chhattisgarh, and 4,011 in Madhya Pradesh.
The registration process for this recruitment took place from July 15 to August 5, 2024, followed by a correction window that was open from August 6 to August 8, 2024.
