The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has posted Recruitment 2026 advertisement of 600 posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT). It is a tremendous opportunity to the candidates who seek to develop their career in the education sector.
The process of online application will start on March 16, 2026 and will go on till April 6, 2026. The applicants should submit their applications by the end of the deadline via the official website of the HPRCA.
There are a total of 600 vacancies of the post of Junior Basic Teacher (Job Trainee). The monthly remuneration of the selected candidates will be [?]18,000 within the contract period.
The applicants are required to be graduates of Senior Secondary (10+2) with not less than 50 percent marks, and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or JBT course. Others are also permitted like B.El.Ed, Graduation with D.El.Ed, or integrated B.Ed-M.Ed. The candidates should also pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which is administered by the Himachal Pradesh Board or any authorized body.
The minimum age of the applicant is 18-45 years. According to the government regulations, reserved category candidates are allowed to obtain age relaxation.
The selection will involve the use of a computer based test or written exam of 120 marks. The maximum time will be one and a half hours of exam. The performance in this test shall be used to select the final ones.
The applicants should pay the application fee amounting to [?]100 in examination fee and [?]700 in processing fee. An application deadline will also be offered after correction window.
