DU UG Admission 2024: Eligible candidates can begin applying for DU UG spot admissions starting tomorrow through the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
The University of Delhi will open the registration process for the first round of spot admissions on September 18. As of September 15, a total of 72,263 admissions have been confirmed.
According to the DU UG spot admissions schedule, the list of vacant seats will be available at 10 am on September 18. Candidates can apply for spot round 1 from 10 am on September 18 until 11:59 pm on September 19.
The seat allotment results for the first spot admission round will be released at 3 pm on September 21. Candidates must accept their allotted seats between 3 pm on September 21 and 11:59 pm on September 22.
Colleges will verify and approve applications by 4:59 pm on September 23, and the last date to pay the online fee is September 24 by 4:59 pm.
DU UG admission 2024: Who are eligible for spot round 1?
Candidates who applied for CSAS UG 2024 at Delhi University but have not been admitted to any college by 5 pm on September 17 are eligible to participate in the first round of spot admissions. After this deadline, the dashboard of admitted candidates will be frozen, and they will not be able to withdraw their admissions.
To be considered for spot admissions, candidates must select the ‘Spot Admission’ option through their dashboard and choose only those Program + College combinations where seats are available according to their category.
Delhi University has specified that accepting the allotted seat in the spot round 1 is mandatory. Failure to accept the seat will result in the forfeiture of the candidate’s eligibility for admission, and they will be removed from the admission process.
There will be no option to withdraw or upgrade the allotted seat during the spot rounds, and the seat allocated in a particular spot admission round will be final.
