CUET UG Result 2024: Commerce, Arts subjects have highest number of top scorersThe highest number of students scored full marks (200) in Business Studies (8,024), followed by Political Science (5,141), History (2,520) and English (1683).

A majority of students who achieved full marks in the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) appeared for Commerce and Arts subjects, according to data shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The results of the entrance test were announced yesterday, July 29.

The highest number of students scored full marks (200) in Business Studies (8,024), followed by Political Science (5,141), History (2,520), and English (1,683).

In contrast, the number of top scorers in Science subjects is significantly lower. The highest number of candidates scoring full marks in a Science stream subject is for the Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry paper, with 835 candidates. For Chemistry, 398 candidates achieved full marks, while for Physics, the number is 114.

There are 12 subjects in which 100 or more candidates have obtained full marks.

A total of 1,347,820 unique candidates registered for CUET UG 2024, with 1,113,610 appearing for the test.

Considering candidates who appeared for multiple papers, the total registrations for this year’s exam amounted to 5,771,668, and the total number of candidates who appeared was 4,621,670.

The first-ever hybrid CUET was held in May. For papers with a high number of candidates, the exam was conducted on OMR sheets, while subjects with fewer candidates were tested through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). A re-examination was also conducted on July 19.

The NTA published the final answer keys for all subjects before announcing the results.
