The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) commenced the application process for Constable positions on March 18, 2025. Those aspiring to join as Constables in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police can access the application link via the official CSBC website at csbc.bihar.gov.in.
The registration window will remain open until April 18, 2025. Through this CSBC Bihar Police recruitment drive, 19,838 posts will be filled within the department.
Applicants must have passed the Class 12 or Intermediate examination, or possess equivalent qualifications such as Maulvi certification from the Bihar Madarsa Board, or Shastri/Acharya qualification (with English) as of April 18, 2025. - Visit the official website of CSBC at csbc.bihar.gov.in.

- A new page will open where candidates will get the registration link.
- Click on the registration link and register yourself.
- Once registration is done, login to the account.
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories, all female candidates who are residents of Bihar, and transgender candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹180/-. Candidates from other categories will have to pay ₹675/- as the application fee.
In addition to the examination fee, candidates must also bear applicable bank charges, which will be automatically added during the online payment process. All payments must be made through online mode.
The selection process involves two stages. The first stage consists of a written examination worth 100 marks, featuring 100 objective-type questions. Candidates will have two hours to complete the test, with each question carrying one mark. In the second stage, candidates who qualify will undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). For this round, the board will shortlist candidates in a ratio of five times the number of available vacancies, based on their merit in the written exam.
