The consortium clarified that if an objection is found to be valid and accepted, the objection fee will be refunded to the same bank account from which the payment was made. Requests to transfer the refund to any other account will not be considered. It also stated that objections submitted without the prescribed fee will be rejected.

The CLAT 2026 entrance exam for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses at National Law Universities was conducted on December 7, 2025 at 156 exam centres across 25 states, 93 cities, and 4 union territories.

This year, a total of 92,344 candidates applied for the exam, including 75,009 UG applicants and 17,335 PG applicants.
