Registration for the BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024, featuring 220 available positions, will commence on January 17, 2024.
The Bihar Public Service Commission has announced openings for the position of Assistant Professor and is inviting applications. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official BPSC website at bpsc.bih.nic.in. This recruitment initiative aims to occupy 220 vacancies within the organization.
Commencing on January 17, the registration process for the Assistant Professor posts will conclude on January 28, 2024. Refer below for information on eligibility, the selection process, and other pertinent details.
Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- Unreserved (Male) – 45 years
- Unreserved Female, Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female) – 48 years
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female) – 50 years.
- The age limit for doctors working in Bihar State Health Services cadre will be 50 years.
Application Fees
Applicants are required to submit a Biometric fee of Rs. 200/- based on different reservation categories, as specified in the advertisement.
- For general candidates – ₹100/-
- Only for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Bihar State – Rs. 25/-
- For all (reserved/unreserved category) female candidates who are permanent residents of Bihar state – ₹25/-
- For handicapped candidates (40% or more) – ₹25/-
- For all other candidates – ₹100/-
Apart from the examination fee mentioned earlier, candidates will be responsible for paying the charges set by different banks. The online payment process will automatically deduct these charges as bank fees. For further information, candidates can refer to the official BPSC website.
