AP TET 2024: The AP TET July 2024 notification has been released, with the application process starting on July 4.
The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has released the notification for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) scheduled for July 2024. Candidates can download the notification from aptet.apcfss.in. The application process will begin on July 4 and end on July 17, with the payment window open from July 3 to 16.
The exam will be conducted from August 5 to 20, and the result is expected to be announced on August 30. See all the important dates below:

AP TET 2024 Application Fee:
The application fee for the AP TET July exam is ₹750 for each paper (1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B).

The AP TET exam is conducted for individuals aspiring to become teachers in State Government schools, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, A.P. Model Schools, A.P. Residential Schools, all Welfare Society Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Un-aided Schools, covering classes 1 to 8 in Andhra Pradesh.
AP TET 2024 Pass Marks:
To pass the examination, the required marks are as follows:
- Open Category: 60% or more
- BC Category: 50% or more
- SC, ST, Differently Abled (PH), and Ex-Servicemen Categories: 40% or more
For teacher recruitment, 20% weightage will be given to the APTET exam score, while 80% will be based on the respective teacher recruitment exam. The APTET certificate is valid for a lifetime.
