The Subordinate Services Selection Board Punjab has officially announced new examination dates for Clerk (Group C) and Group D recruitment tests which will occur during the 2026 examination period. Candidates who have applied should carefully check the revised schedule and prepare accordingly.
According to the latest update the Clerk (Group C) exam will be conducted on April 19 2026. The previous date for the event was set to April 5 2026. The Group D exam will occur on April 5 2026 which was originally scheduled for March 1 2026.
The administrative changes required these modifications to take place. The new dates provide candidates additional time for preparation especially those who will take the Clerk exam. Aspirants can now use the extra days to improve their typing skills general knowledge and exam practice.
The recruitment includes Clerk posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026 and Group D posts under Advertisement No. 08/2025. Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for updates and to download the official notice.
The admit cards for both exams will be released before the examination dates. The Group D exam on April 5 will have its admit cards distributed between March 26 and March 29 in 2026. The Clerk exam on April 19 will have its admit cards distributed between April 10 and April 12 in 2026.
The admit card is an important document. It will include details like the candidate’s roll number and exam centre and reporting time and important instructions. Candidates must carry it to the exam hall along with a valid ID proof.
