The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the application window for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Eligible candidates who wish to apply must do so on the official websites — upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in.

According to the UPSC’s official notification, the correction window for UPSC CSE 2025 will be open for seven days, starting from February 19, 2025, until February 25, 2025, following the closure of the application window.
To apply, candidates must create a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile, which remains valid for a lifetime. Those who already have an OTR profile can directly fill out the application form.
The application fee for UPSC CSE 2025 is ₹100. However, female candidates, as well as those belonging to SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) categories, are exempt from paying the fee.
The UPSC CSE 2025 examination comprises two stages: Prelims and Mains, which include a written examination and an interview.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a graduation degree or its equivalent qualification. Candidates who have appeared for their final graduation exam but are awaiting results can also apply. However, they must provide proof of passing the exam if shortlisted for the interview or personality test.
For candidates pursuing MBBS, BDS, Veterinary Science, or equivalent degrees, proof of internship completion is required. Those yet to complete their internship will be allowed to appear for the exam provisionally but must submit their degree certificate and internship completion proof at the time of the interview.

Age limit:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old as of August 1, 2025.
The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates from reserved categories, as per government norms.
The UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) Examination 2025 is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2025.
