The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has extended the deadline for applying for direct recruitment of Assistant Professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service. Candidates now have until 5 pm on May 15 to submit their forms. Access the official website at trb.tn.gov.in. Previously, the application deadline was April 29.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,000 Assistant Professor vacancies at government Arts, Science, and Education colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Candidates will undergo a selection process that includes a written examination followed by interviews.
The written examination consists of two papers totaling 200 marks. The first paper is for 100 marks and is divided into two parts. Section A contains 50 compulsory questions, each worth one mark. This section includes 25 questions from Tamil Language and 25 from General Knowledge, particularly Current Affairs. The duration for section A is one hour.
