The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) has released the rankings for the top universities in India for 2024. According to the IIRF, these rankings are based on seven performance indicators that reflect the Indian socio-economic and industrial scale. The indicators include Placement Performance, Teaching Learning and Resources, Research, Industry Income and Integration, Placement Strategies and Support, and External Perception. These factors are trusted nationwide by students, teachers, industry experts, and alumni.
The IIRF has categorized Indian universities into four types based on UGC guidelines: Central Government Universities, State Government Universities, Deemed Universities, and State Private Universities.
