UGC NET Admit Card 2023 – The candidate is required to download the admit card from the NTA website and show up for the exam at the designated center on the date, time, shift, and discipline specified on the admit card. UGC NET Examination Details
The June 2022 Cycle of UGC NET will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shifts as per the time schedule specified in the Information at a glance, in the Subjects given at Annexure -II in selected Cities spread across the Country (Annexure -III).
UGC NET Mode of Examination
- The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
UGC NET Pattern of Examination
- The UGC NET Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers.

UGC NET Subject and Syllabus of Test
- The Rundown of Subjects and their Codes for December 2022 Pattern of UGC NET are given at Annexure-II. Candidates should be aware that the syllabus has been altered, and a Public Notice on the NTA website has also announced the new syllabus, which will be in effect beginning in June 2019.
- The most recent NET Subject Syllabus can be downloaded from the UGC website: https://www.ugcnetonline.in/syllabus-new.php.
- Candidates will not receive a syllabus copy from the National Testing Agency.
UGC NET Medium of Question Paper
- The question paper will only be available in English and Hindi.
- When filling out the online Application Form, the Candidate should carefully select the medium of the Question Paper.
- Candidates who select Hindi as their medium on the application form will receive bilingual papers; candidates who select English as their medium will only receive the English version.
- In the event of ambiguity in the translation or construction of a question on the exam, the English version shall be deemed to be final, and the decision of the NTA shall be final in this regard. Candidates are required to respond in the medium specified in the Application Form.
UGC NET Marking Scheme
- There are two marks for each question.
- The candidate will receive two marks for each correct response.
- An incorrect response does not result in a negative score.
- Questions that have not been answered, attempted, or marked for review will not receive marks.
- The candidate must select one option as the correct response to a question.
