The last date to register for MHT CET 2025 is February 15, 2025. However, candidates can submit their applications until February 22, 2025, by paying a late fee of ₹500.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has announced the commencement of online registration for the Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test (MHT CET) 2025 starting today, December 30. The confirmed examination schedule and admit card release dates will be announced by CET Cell at a later stage.
The exam will be held in two streams: PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
According to the tentative schedule released earlier in November, the PCB group examination is likely to take place from April 9 to April 17, 2025 (excluding April 10 and 14, 2025). The PCM group examination is expected to occur between April 19 and April 27, 2025 (excluding April 24, 2025).

The CET Cell will allocate approximately 20% weightage to the Class 11 syllabus and 80% to the Class 12 syllabus when preparing the question paper. Candidates can access the detailed exam syllabus through the information brochure linked above.
There will be no negative marking in the examination. The difficulty level of questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will align with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, while the difficulty level for Biology will match that of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The application fee for MHT CET 2025 is ₹1,000 for candidates in the General (Open) category, including Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and J&K Migrant applicants.
For candidates belonging to the Backward Class Category (SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC, EWS), Persons with Disability (PwD), and all Orphan and Transgender (Other) categories, the application fee is ₹800.
