DEE Assam recruitment notice for 4,500 LP, UP teacher posts released, apply from February 15

DEE Assam recruitment: DEE Assam, has announced two separate recruitment advertisements for a total of 4,500 teaching positions in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools. The online application process will begin on February 15 and close on March 31, and interested candidates can apply at dee.assam.gov.in.

Out of the total vacancies, 2,900 positions are available for Assistant Teacher roles in Lower Primary schools, while 1,600 positions are allocated for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, and Hindi Teacher posts in Upper Primary schools.

  • Candidates who have qualified ATET or CTET (specific to LP or UP schools, based on the post) are eligible to apply. The medium of instruction at the school must align with the language 1 or language 2 of the candidate’s ATET or CTET qualification.
  • DEE Assam will release separate merit lists for each district and category.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years as of January 1. Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per the rules.
  • Candidates with more than two living children born on or after January 1, 2021 (from one or multiple partners) are not eligible for this recruitment.

NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificateor5 marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing State or Nationor5 marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine Arts and Cultural Activities representing State at National Level or Beyond representing State or Nation (organized by recognized institutions).5 marks (Even if the candidate possesses all the three qualification/ achievements)
