The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT Result 2025) result at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. Candidates can access their scorecards by entering their application number and date of birth.
The exam was held on January 25 in two shifts across 107 cities and 178 exam centers. A total of 74,012 candidates registered, out of which 63,145 appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), resulting in an overall attendance of 85.32%.
Since CMAT was conducted in multiple shifts, the raw marks of candidates were normalized into NTA scores (percentiles) using the following formula:
NTA score for CMAT =
(100 × Number of candidates in the session with a raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate) ÷ (Total number of candidates who appeared in that session).

After the exam, NTA released the CMAT answer key and question paper, displaying candidates’ recorded responses on the official website. Candidates were invited to raise objections, if any, between January 31 and February 2.
Subject experts reviewed the challenges, which were then considered in the preparation of the final answer key. The result was determined based on this final version.
NTA previously stated:
“If a candidate’s challenge is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied to all candidates accordingly. The result will be prepared and declared based on the revised Final Answer Keys. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their challenge. The Keys finalized by the Experts after reviewing the challenges will be considered final.”
CMAT Result 2025 marking scheme
- Every question asked in the CMAT exam carries four marks.
- Four marks (+4) are awarded for every correct answer.
- One mark is deducted (-1) for every incorrect answer.
- No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered or un-attempted questions.
- If multiple options are correct, those who have attempted the question correctly get full marks.
- If a question is dropped, all candidates get full marks.
CMAT Result 2025: Tie-breaking rule
If two or more candidates scored the same marks, ties were resolved in the following order.
- Students with the same score have been arranged in ascending order of their date of birth.
- Candidates who obtained the same score have been assigned the same merit rank, leading to a skip in numbering. For example, if two candidates are ranked 2, both retain rank 2, and the next candidate is assigned rank 4, skipping rank 3.
