The APPSC Group 2 Mains Examination was conducted in two shifts: from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Out of 92,250 registered candidates, 86,459 downloaded their hall tickets. A total of 79,599 candidates appeared for the morning shift, while 79,451 attended the afternoon shift, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 92%, according to APPSC’s web note.

In a separate web note regarding the answer key, the commission stated that candidates who wish to raise objections to any question or key can do so through the official website. The objection window will be open from February 25 to February 27, 2025.

Objections for both papers must be submitted online. Submissions via post, WhatsApp, SMS, phone, individual requests, or any other means will not be accepted. Additionally, objections received after the deadline will not be considered.

Exam postponement notification fake: APPSC

Before the Group 2 Mains Examination, APPSC warned candidates about a fake notice circulating on social media, falsely claiming that the exam had been postponed.

“It is learnt that a fake Web Note is circulating on social media stating that the Main Examination for Group-II Services (Notification No. 11/2023), scheduled for 23/02/2025 FN & AN, has been postponed. This information is false, and a police complaint for criminal prosecution is being filed in this regard,” APPSC stated.

Meanwhile, some APPSC Group 2 aspirants urged the government to postpone the exam, citing errors in the roster system. They requested that these issues be addressed before the examination.

On Friday, Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Nara Lokesh acknowledged the candidates’ concerns and assured them that all possible solutions would be explored.

“I’ve received numerous requests from Group 2 aspirants to postpone the examinations. I understand their concerns, and in consultation with our legal teams, we will explore all possible avenues to find a solution,” the minister posted on X.

Despite these appeals, APPSC proceeded with the examination as scheduled.
