MAH CET 2024: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will hold an additional CET for BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM, MBA, and MCA integrated courses on August 4. A total of 49,217 students from the state have registered for this exam.
This year marked the first time the CET was conducted for admission to BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM courses. Many students faced challenges in clearing the exam due to their unfamiliarity with the new format. As a result, students, parents, and educational institutions requested the State CET Cell to offer additional opportunities for these programs.
In response to this demand, the Common Entrance Examination Board will hold an additional examination. The Higher and Technical Education Department approved this request and began the registration process for the additional CET on June 29.
A strong response led to 49,225 students registering for the exam, including 29,791 boys, 19,430 girls, and 4 transgender students. All registered candidates will take the exam on August 4. The CET office has announced that admit cards will be sent to registered students via email and SMS.
MAH CET 2024: The CET Cell initially conducted the CET for BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM courses on May 29, with 56,248 students registered. Of these, 48,135 students appeared for the exam, which led to concerns about a significant number of vacant seats. Following this additional exam on August 4, the results will be announced, and the actual admission process will commence.
